Step 1

Over a month walk, run, cycle or move any other way to cover a distance matching a journey that many refugees have taken. Choose the journey that suits your fitness level and your preferred activity:
- If you are taking part as an individual, the 80km Naf River to Cox's Bazaar journey is suggested.
- Want more of a challenge? Then go for the 145km Damascus to Beirut journey.
- Joining as a team? The 425km Afghanistan to Pakistan is a great option.
- Or, if you want to really go the distance, the 1,175km Myanmar to Thailand is for the avid fitness enthusiasts!
This year the event will run in September, with official dates soon to be announced!
If you are unsure, please see frequently asked questions for more information.

“Join me doing Red Cross Journey. As a former refugee, I know the good work Red Cross does here and around the world, so I’m happy to support Red Cross through this event. And doing this will be good to get me active at the beginning of spring!”
